Kalahandi District National Journalism Day Celebration

India is a democratic country where people are given top priority. This beautiful edifice of democracy stands on four pillars, namely the legislature, the executive, the judiciary and the press. Journalism is one of the four pillars of the house and if one of the four pillars of the house is weak, the house collapses like this happens in our democracy. Therefore, in 1966, the Press Commission decided to celebrate November 16 as Journalism Day every year. Today in Kakasar block of Kalahandi district, all journalist brothers and friends gathered in a strong attitude from Kalahandi district so that the National Journalists' Day was celebrated with the presence of government employees, politicians and citizens. Many inspirations were also given along with the festival.
