In Gunjapai village of Munikhol panchayat under Muniguda block of Rayagada district

Dangaria Kandha is a tribe living in remote hilly country deprived of material facilities. Today, 77 long years of India's independence have passed, and India is still deprived of basic benefits. About 30 families are living in this Gunjapai village and the population is more than 150. Dungaria Kandhas who live in this rugged hilly mountain range survive by collecting various types of food such as water from Saha Rainfall stream and Kandamul forest. In order to go to this Gunjapai village, one has to struggle with life and there is no other way except the footpath. Being a remote area, there are no good roads, no clean drinking water, no health services, no education system. There is no Indira residence, no electricity service of Ujjag, these are seven dreams for this remote area. Dangria Kandh is somehow deprived of access to this inaccessible remote village of Gunjapai as transportation is completely difficult. Remote Tribal Empowerment and Livelihood Development Program, Tribal and Harijan Development Department, Government of Odisha, Dangaria Kandha Development Corporation has spent crores of rupees to provide facilities to the people. The government is spending crores of rupees on different routes for Dungaria Kandhas and is supporting the work done by the developers. Dungarees are deprived of not one or two such opportunities. New roads were being constructed for these hilly areas, but due to the arbitrary substandard work of the developers, the roads have become dilapidated. To go to this Gunjapai village, this remote area is about 12 km away from the local Muniguda block. Begging for votes by spreading propaganda during the counting of census votes. Many leaders and ministers make promises but the promises turn into dreams. Eny complained in written and verbal form from panchayat to block and district, hoping on the basis of promises about the problem of the village, but the result is zero. It is limited to pen and paper. It remains to be seen whether the government or the district administration block administrative officers and politicians will look into this and provide government facilities to the Dungaria Kandhas living in hilly areas.
