Joint Public Hearing Held for Baripada Subdivision A Total of 146 Complaints Were Heard

Baripada | Dated: 06.10.2025 As per the scheduled program, a joint public hearing camp was organized today at the conference hall of the District Collector’s office, Baripada, under the chairmanship of District Collector Shri Hem Kant Say, IAS. During the hearing, Superintendent of Police Shri Varun Guntupalli, IPS, IAS Probationer Kashish Bakshi, Chief Development Officer of Zilla Parishad Shri Dharmananda Behera, Additional District Magistrate Shri Dukhbandhu Nayak, Additional District Magistrate Shri Ishwar Chandra Nayak, Baripada Sub-Collector Dr. Dayasindhu Parida, and ADMO Dr. Bijay Kumar Dash, among others, were present. District-level officers from various departments, as well as Subdivisional and Block-level officers of Baripada Subdivision, attended the camp and assisted in the grievance hearing process. In today’s session, a total of 146 petitions from Baripada Subdivision were received for hearing. Out of these, 132 were related to individual grievances, while 14 were collective or community issues. Ten complaints were resolved immediately during the hearing. Considering the urgency and gravity of certain cases, the District Collector sanctioned ₹25,000 each to five individuals from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, and ₹10,000 to one individual from the Red Cross Fund. For the remaining complaints related to various departments, the District Collector instructed the concerned officials to examine them thoroughly and ensure prompt resolution.
