Inter-College Level Chess Tournament held under the auspices of Maa Manikeswari University

Inter-College Level Chess (Women/Men), and Keram (Women/Men) held under the auspices of Maa Manikeswari University were held today on 21.11.2024 at Maa Manikeswari University. A total of 8 teams from 6 colleges participated in the Chess Women's section, 15 teams from 14 colleges participated in the Chess Men's section, 12 teams from 9 colleges participated in the Keram Women's section and 20 teams from 13 colleges participated in the Keram Men's section. In the chess (men's) category, Bibhu Prasad Pradhan, National College, Nuapada was the champion, in the women's chess, Achiya Rajput, National College Nuapada was the runner-up, in the men's Kerem, Bibhu Prasad Pradhan, National College Nuapada was the runner-up and brought pride and glory to National College Nuapada. All the winners were honored at the college today. College Chairman Shri Hitesh Kumar Sahu, Durlav Charan Behera, Baidyanath Bhonnia, Sports Professor Prakash Kumar Sahu and all the faculty members were present, and about 1000 students of the college were present at the said ceremony.
