Demand to provide ambulance to Khamankhol health center

Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): Local residents have demanded to provide an ambulance to the health center in Khamankhol panchayat under Baliguda block of Kandhamal district. Khamankhol and Landagaon are the border panchayats of Baliguda Block and Kandhamal District. Residents of three panchayats and villagers of border district depend on Khamankhol Swasthya Kendra. But there is no facility to come from this hospital to Baliguda sub-hospital or Barkhama group hospital. Baliguda Hospital is 40 km away from the said health center and Barkhama is 30 km away. Most of the people in Khamankhol and Landagaon panchayats belong to the poor. After being treated at the Khamankhol hospital, if the patients need further treatment, they are transferred elsewhere, so the patients have to wait for a long time for the bus to come to Baliguda or Barakhma. Villagers cannot afford to pay more money to rent a vehicle. So immediately provide an ambulance to this hospital Hundreds of people of the two villages can be especially benefited. Apart from this, the doctors' residences in the hospital are also in a dilapidated condition. ANM's residence in the hospital premises was under construction for 8 years, but it could not be completed. In this regard, the local residents have repeatedly reported to the officials of Vidyalaya, Upazilapal, Subkhand Hospital, but it is not implemented. Therefore, the residents of Achal have demanded to provide ambulance service immediately.
