The problem of not leaving behind even after death

In Kelar village under Kusumguda Panchayat, Lakshmipur block of Koraput district, there is no road to go to the cemetery. When someone dies in the village, their relatives have to carry them in front of the river passing by the village. The problems of the villagers are doubled if someone dies on a rainy day. Relatives carry the dead person on their shoulders and go to the cemetery on the other side. Since time immemorial, the villagers have been burying dead bodies in the graveyard on the other side of the river, and now they do not want to change the place. Today, an old man, Gurnath Khasla, died. To bury his body, his relatives entered the graveyard on the other side of the river to see the dead body being carried away. Got it. Because there is no pole on the river, people are suffering like AI. For years, complaints have been made from the leaders to the administration, but nothing has been achieved. Only when it rains, the administration remembers the problems of the people. When the rain stops, no one is seen. If something goes wrong while crossing the dead body, there is a general question as to who is responsible for it.
