Nandpur and Fishkund police have started green clean again

The police have started Operation Green Clean with strict measures. Fishkund, Padua, Nandpur police and Koraput unemployment department together with Arganda, Billaput village of Billaput Panchayat in the presence of the local Magistrate destroyed about 13 thousand ganja trees from about 12 acres of land. Based on the information from Goinda, Operation Green Clean is continuing as per the instructions of Koraput SP. This area is the border region of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, and the village is close to the water supply of Jalaput dam. Due to the lack of awareness of the farmers, the cultivation of cannabis has been going on for many years. Since this area was previously a Maoist-affected area, DBF Police has started from 09:00 am in the joint effort of Fishkund, Nandpur, Jollaput, Lamtaput Police and Koraput Abkari. The operation will continue till 05:00 pm. If the cannabis cultivation is done on forest land or owned land after receiving the report of the local RI, if the land is owned then the case will be filed in the name of the concerned land owner. And the farmers have been encouraged to come and grow vegetables in the mainstream. Nandpur S. d. P. and Samvit Kumar Majhi.
