3 serious assaults on shopkeepers for not leaving, one accused arrested

A businessman was allegedly attacked near Karamatiya Panchayat Kaipada Street under Bari Ramachandrapur police station. According to the incident, two brothers Subrata Sahu and Subrajit Sahu support their family by running a fast food shop in Kaipada Street. Chain Mallik of Kalamatia village in that panchayat came to the fast food shop and asked for the rest. But the fast food shopkeeper in question refused to give the rest. Later, due to an argument between them, Chin's elder brother Sarada, who was sitting in a nearby shop, reached the spot and both the brothers attacked with weapons. Subrata's grandfather Srinath arrived and asked for understanding. But Sarada attacked the two nephews along with some naive grandfather. In this attack, 3 people were injured and first they were transferred to Bari Gosti Health Center and then to Jajpur District General Hospital and Cuttack doctor's house due to their critical condition. In this incident, Subrata's left shoulder, Balaram's left hand and Subrajit's head were found to be severely injured. Based on the written complaint, the Bari police registered a case 586/2024 and arrested Sharda, while another accused is on the way back.
