There is a lot of excitement around Shuakati OMC. Woman and journalist injured in attack by goons

Earlier, OMC mine-affected area Madrangajodi villagers have been repeatedly demanding the Shuakati Odisha Mining Corporation authorities to recognize their village as a mine-affected area and provide all the facilities. Even then the local MLA, present Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi himself wrote a letter to the OMC authorities. However, on Monday, the villagers came to the Keonjhar Sadar Mahkuma and met the District Collector and expressed their demands and also informed the SP in writing that if the demands are not met, they will be forced to visit the mining office on November 11. However, since the mining authorities and the administration did not provide any facilities, hundreds of men and women of Madrangajodi village under Sadar block together went to protest in front of Gate No. 15 at Shuakati Echinda. Sadar Thana police and many policemen were present there. However, on the way, among these agitators, a person from outside Shuakati area, who was working as a money broker, broke into the crowd. They suddenly attacked the woman and the journalist in front of the police. So many people were injured in the clash. Journalist Dasarath Barik was shifted to hospital due to head injury. The agitators were still there raising slogans against the company. After returning from there, the women reported to Sadar police station. People complain that the company's brokers and security personnel have staged the attack. So they demanded strict action and warned them to protest again ,
