Big corruption incident in Baliguda block: Strict action will be taken against the corrupt officials

Kandhamal: (Fast News Odisha): Action will be taken in the case of corruption in Baliguda block of Kandhamal district. The state government has taken it seriously. The government has asked for a report on what action has been taken against the corrupt officials and whether the government money has been recovered from them. In addition, the state government has directed the district administration to take immediate disciplinary action against the officials involved in the incident and to submit a report of all the incidents by the 15th. In Baliguda block there was a corruption of Rs 75 lakh 30 thousand in the National Family Assistance Scheme (NFBA). According to the audit report, to collect money from the officials involved and take it to the government and take disciplinary action against the officials concerned, letter no. 3094, dated March 28, 2023 letter no. 2618 and March 30th letter No. 2706 has been repeated but no reply has been received so far. In this letter, it is directed to immediately collect money from the corrupt officials and take strict action against them and submit a report by next 15th. Now the officials who are sitting thinking that nothing will happen to us by usurping the government funds have now been attacked. The former LSEO/BSSO who is the root of this corruption has been dismissed from the job. No money has been recovered from him. Till date, no action has been taken against others involved in this scam and no money has been paid as per the instructions given to them.
