Bhimvoy Disability Camp

Bisheipat Government High School of Yamunapashi Gram Panchayat under Patna Block of Keonjhar District Bhimvoi Disability Empowerment Camp has been held. In this, differently abled persons from various departments have registered and obtained necessary medical advice. Separate registration rooms were set up for orthopedics, ear, nose and throat, psychiatry, ophthalmology, etc., while the documents of disabled persons who were deprived of government facilities were accepted and arrangements were made for taking appropriate measures. A special medical team has been deployed courtesy of the Keonjhar district administration to conduct a health examination of the disabled and provide necessary advice, while arrangements have been made to distribute disabled equipment to the qualified disabled. Apart from this, the application forms for giving houses to the disabled under the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme and bus passes and allowances have also been received in this camp. Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Sukanti Naik, BDO Manas Kumar Jakpat, ABDO Chittaranjan Naik, Assistant Executive Engineer Sidda Majhi, Sub-District Social Security Officer Bhubaneswari Mahanath and Block Social Security Officer have been deputed by the Patna Block Administration to provide registration and other related support to the camp. Abhay Charan Dehuri was the chief guest and supervised the programme. It is reported that over 1500 disabled people attended the camp and underwent health check-up and received medical advice.
