Karanjia Sub-Divisional Hospital Awarded for Providing Excellent and Quality Healthcare Services

Karanjia, October 2 (Bureau): Karanjia Sub-Divisional Hospital has been awarded for its outstanding achievement in providing excellent and quality healthcare services to cardiac patients. It is the only hospital in Mayurbhanj district to receive this recognition for its significant contribution to cardiac healthcare services. The award was presented in recognition of the hospital’s notable contribution to the diagnosis and treatment of heart-related ailments. On the occasion, members of the state-level team, including Dr. Nilakantha Mishra, Professor of Cardiology, TBIMER and Capital Hospital; Dr. Bijay Kumar Mihapatra, Team Leader, SRC; Dr. Bijay Kumar Das Mahapatra, Additional Director, NCD; and Lalit Mohan Sahu, State Consultant, NCD, were present. Among the officers and staff who received the award were Mayurbhanj DPHO Dr. Subash Nayak, Karanjia SDH Superintendent Dr. Khirendra Nath Pati, NCD Assistant Nihar Ranjan Prusti, Karanjia SDH Hospital Manager Mrs. Lipsa Rajanandini Mahapatra, and Pulmonary Medicine Specialist Dr. Sameer Ranjan Behera. In particular, the hospital’s role in identifying cardiac-related problems among patients under the treatment of Dr. Sameer Ranjan Behera and providing appropriate treatment was cited as a major reason for the recognition. The recognition has generated a sense of encouragement and enthusiasm among the doctors and healthcare workers of Karanjia SDH.
