Additional Assistant Commissioner of Deities visits Baliguda: Review of Sri Jagannath Temple Management

Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): Additional Assistant Commissioner of Deities, Berhampur, Siddharth Shankar Jena on Friday returned after inspecting the oldest Sri Jagannath Temple in Baliguda, Kandhamal district. Upon reaching the Sri Jagannath Temple, the temple's Managing Trustees T. Srinivas Rao and Madhusudan Das showed him around the temple premises. He visited various side deity shrines and worshipped Sri Jagannath. He supervised the new Yagya Mandap, Kalyan Mandap, Aagument Mandap and various development programs in the temple premises and discussed with the trust members how the inauguration festival was celebrated. He inspected various documents related to the management of the temple throughout the year, including the accounts of the income and expenditure. Additional Assistant Commissioner of Devas, Shri Jena, advised the trustees to strictly perform the worship of the deities worshipped in the temple premises as per the rules and regulations, and to maintain cleanliness.
