In Bhairavgarh, Chobishi guard named Yajnya Bisjarjan

In Bhairgarh village under Muniguda block of Rayagada district, twenty-four guard name Yajna was found disintegrated on the last day. Hundreds of men, women and children gathered in the village, sang the Sankirtan dance and performed the funeral in great pomp. This name Yajna Gavat first became Bisarjan Puja Archana and then circumambulated the Puja Mandap and toured the city. This chobishi gagata nama yajna was performed from last 11th till 15/11/2024. Before chobishi gagata eight gagata names were performed but this year it is reported that chobishi gagata was performed. Thousands of devotees from different rural areas thronged to witness the sacrifice. Starting from eight guards in the village every year from earlier men to twenty-four guards, they used to perform sacrifices. At the end, the village of Bhairabgarh was shaking with joyous dance. In addition to this, the editor of the committee expressed that it is an effort to preserve the traditional moment of Hinduism and maintain unity and brotherhood in the village. In this, Puja Committee President Pappu Gantayat, Anankar Sahu, Niranjan Sahu, Madhu Mandangi, Vrisketu Gantayat, Bhavani Shankar Sahu, Kiran from the advisory committee. Villagers were present along with Sahu, Dakhambar Sikoka, Nari Netri Puspalata Dalipati, Sumitra Majhi, Manoj Mahankud. Bhasani concluded the process of dissolution by performing pujacharana in the local name of Shakta.
