Huge crowd at meat shops in Patna Baza

Some people celebrated the Kartik month for a whole month, while others reduced their daily prayers for only five days. Although they were fasting yesterday, since Saturday and Scorpio Sankranti were on Saturday, the brothers and sisters who observe the fast and Kartik month celebrated it by fasting on Sunday. On Sunday, there was a long queue of customers at all the fish and meat shops in Patna Bazaar. At Savitri in the middle of Patna Bazaar, a crowd of customers was seen for desi fish, desi chicken and special meat. Similarly, there was a crowd at the Rana fish and desi chicken broiler shop, while a huge crowd was seen at Sahu Matar Center. Customers said that fish and meat are being sold at good prices in all these shops.
