Block Level Baal Science Exhibition and Science Fair in Nuapada

Nuapada: The Block Level Baal Science Exhibition and Science Fair based on Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future is being organized at Government High School, Khutbanvera by the Community Education Office, Nuapada and in collaboration with the Community Science Forum. The inaugural function was presided over by Group Education Officer Nuapada Hemsagar Mahanand with District Education Officer Nuapada Karunakar Bhuye as the chief guest, District Science Inspector Giridhari Sa as the guest of honor, Zilla Parishad Member Uma Thakur, Panchayat Samiti President Nuapada Tareshwari Sahu, Sarpanch Khutbanvera Sampal Kuldeep, Samiti Member Sarabang Jagruti Sahu, Naib Sarpanch Khutbanvera Chaman Lal Pandey, Lawyer Madyaram Sahu, School Principal Umesh Kumar Sahu, Managing Committee Chairman Sonuram Kenat, ABEO Chandrakala Jagat and Chaitraram Naik as prominent participants. A total of 270 projects were displayed by talented scientists in this science fair. The valedictory function was graced by the chief guest, MLA Nuapada, Rajendra Prasad Dholakia, guest of honour, Deputy Collector, Nuapada, Jogendra Majhi, eminent scholar Shiv Pehal Behera, District Science Inspector Girihari Sa, ABEO Utkalamani Agasti, Chandrakala Jagat, Chaitram Naik, Editor of Community Science Forum Radheshyam Shah, who were present and encouraged the young scientists to establish themselves as scientists, mathematicians and environmentalists through science in their future lives. On this occasion, the thinkers who joined from outside the block and district were felicitated by giving mementos and mementos. 14 projects were selected from the block level to participate in the district level. A cultural programme was presented by the students. The school teachers, all the teachers of Sarabong Cluster, all the block coordinators, all the members of the Science Forum, the School Management Committee, the villagers and all the representatives of the Panchayat Raj provided active support in organizing the program successfully.
